Dr. Ryan Graebert

Dr. Ryan Graebert is Principal Cellist of the Salisbury Symphony and Associate Principal Cellist of the Winston-Salem Symphony. A concerto soloist, recitalist, and avid chamber musician, he has performed concertos with the Hilton Head Symphony, Salisbury Symphony, North Carolina Chamber Orchestra, Radford University Chamber Orchestra, Rutherford Chamber Consort, and the Danville Symphony, and has presented solo and chamber recitals throughout the United States.

Dr. Graebert holds a B.M. in Cello Performance from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, an M.M. in Cello Performance and Suzuki Pedagogy from the Cleveland Institute of Music, and a D.M.A. from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he was the recipient of the Excellence Fellowship. He has performed in masterclasses for Steven Isserlis, Zuill Bailey, and Michael Haber, and his principal teachers include Darrett Adkins, Dmitry Kousov, Peter Howard, Melissa Kraut, and Alexander Ezerman.

A dedicated pedagogue, Dr. Graebert has served on the faculties of High Point University and Radford University and has presented masterclasses throughout the United States. He is registered with the Suzuki Association of the Americas in all ten volumes of the Suzuki Cello School and maintains a large private Suzuki studio in Summerfield, North Carolina. He is also the founder and owner of Stand PartnerĀ®, an all-in-one studio management platform for private music teachers and their studios, designed to streamline organization and support consistent student practice.
